Halfway MeMadeMay

It’s May 16th and I documented my outfit almost every day. I am pretty impressed by myself, because normally i’m not really dutifully πŸ™‚

For every day (except one) I wore at least one Me Made garment and still haven’t worn every garment i made! I’m very proud of it, because I’m sewing since September 2015 so that’s 1,5 years now.
Also I’m good at thrifted clothing. My jeans are mostly from garage sales/ thriftshops. And all my RTW clothes are with me for a long, long time.

I love layers, but I just have 1 big cardigan (Driftless cardigan of Grainline Studio) and 1 cropped wrap cardigan (the Seamwork Elmira). I need to make myself some more. Especially Driftless, because they pair with everything.

The jeans I find at the thriftshop are skinny jeans. But I LOVE my flared ones (I bought one at WE fashion recently, still not flared enough but it will do). I need to get my toes into jeans making. Birkin Flares perhaps?

I also love the Itch to Stich Bonn shirt I made, and I’m thinking of a Bonn dress like the one Nicole Merrits made (SO GOOD). Not the Maxi- maxidress kind, but one hitting right beneath the knees.

Next up are tops. Tanktops (I don’t have any, but I bought the Pienkel Fjara racerback shirt), some more Scouttee’s and Larktees (both Grainline Studio’s).

And I would love some easy flattering basic skirts. With pockets. I think another Miette skirt and maybe some other pattern.

Oh boy, that’s quit a list. Especially because I also have the ongoing #sewmystyle challenge. To be honest I haven’t participated in the last 2 months (April and May) and won’t until August with the Megan Nielsen Darling Ranges dress.

Here are my Instagram photo’s where I document my outfit of the day.

—Me Made May day 8— I’m wearing my uniform: jeans, T-shirt and cardigan. Our studio is situated in a warehouse and i’m the only one sitting/ working at my computer (everybody else is making stuff and keeping themselves warm by doing so). So i’m the only one who’s cold πŸ˜ƒ. (really: in the winter i work with my coat on!!). My boss sucks πŸ˜‰ (oh. i’m my boss.) Memade is the Saunio Cardigan from @namedclothing. Fabric is some structured mystery polyester. πŸ“Έ: @boudewijn.hamerhaai — Yesterday I wore my #Bonnshirt again because i wanted to show the shirt to my parents. No photo, no proof. So you have to take my word for it. — β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’ β€’#memademay #sewing #memademay #mmmay17 #imakemyownclothes #handmadewardrobe #ootd #sewcialists #memadeeveryday #sewingblogger #isew #makersgonnamake #naaien #naaienisleuk #maakmei #sauniocardigan #cardigan #namedclothing
